Yurun Intensively Developed the Activity of “One-Heart • Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families”

       On Mar. 15, 2013, Yurun Group’s Semi-annual Summing-up Meeting on the activity of “One-Heart • Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families” was held at the Party Committee’s Conference Room. Yan Diming, vice secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and the conference moderator, conveyed to the attendees the spirit of the “One-Heart • 10,000 Private Enterprises Help 10,000 Households” Conference held recently by the United Front Work Department of Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, summarized the development of the Group’s “One-Heart • Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families” Activity over the past six months, and arranged the work plan for the next stage.

       The Conference pointed out that, the “One-Heart • Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families” project completed the job objectives on schedule with noticeable achievements, was commended by the leaders of Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, and won good social reputation for the Group. By September 2012, the Group’s 98 senior managers completed one-to-one paired support for 200 poverty-stricken families, of which 43.9% senior managers expressed sympathy and solicitude for their supported objects once; 46.9% senior managers did twice; and 9.2% senior managers did so for 3 and more times. After analyzing the concrete difficulties encountered in the support activity, the Conference considered that, there were still the problems in the present work, such as the insufficient attention of some senior managers, relatively simple, unvaried method of support, insufficientpromotion, and lack of linkage between retired senior managers and families needing support. Such problems should arouse attention and be solved.

       Aiming at the next stage of work arrangement, the Conference brought forward some requirements. The first is to communicate and coordinate actively with the government. The members of the “One-Heart Project” Leadership Group should attend the conferences of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Association of Industry and Commerce actively, grasp various tasks arranged by the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee in time, and convey and fulfill the details about the conferences; report the information on the Group’s support activity and the difficulties encountered to the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Association of Industry and Commerce periodically, and ask for the government’s coordination. The second is to strengthen promotion. We should exert the media function of the Group’s newspaper, mail-box, magazine and website, and create the dense atmosphere of the support activity; communicate and cooperate with the local government and media actively, strengthen promotion, and expand the activity’s radiation and influence. The third is to strengthen supervision. The working group shall grasp and upgrade the information on senior managers’ support activity in time, and call attention to the senior managers to pay for more visits to their supported families; and circulate a notice of criticism against those comrades who are making slow work progress within a certain scope according to concrete situations. The fourth is to expand the support team. The Group focused on three districts and two counties of Nanjing City in determining the support objects last year, and it expands the activity to more than 300 branch and subsidiary companies nationwide this year. Each branch and subsidiary company shall contact local government actively, and ensure the breakthrough and development of the One-Heart Project outside Nanjing. The fifth is to make summary and conduct commendation in time. The working group shall hold summing-up meetings periodically, listen to each subsidiary group’s report on the progress of support work, commend those individuals who provide timely support, satisfy supported objects, and produce outstanding support effects, promote their experiences and practices, and push forward the orderly development of workintensively. The sixth is to do well the linkup work of the One-Heart project. Each subsidiary group’s office shall convey and supervise the work of the Group’s senior managers, update the information on their support activity in time, and complete machine account registration and document filing,; periodically comb the Group’s support organization structure, feed back the information on personnel leaving office and new senior managers to the working group, complete the handover, and ensure the continuity of the support work.
